Treatment by a Consultant dermatologist is ongoing. Much loved and a good friend to our other mastiff and GSD (who tends to run away at playtime) ! 26. When I saw Purdy it was love at first sight so we asked if we could show her to our other dogs,we owned two dogs at the time. since then she has been living with us for two years now and me and my wife agree that she is the nicest dog we have ever owned. Information : Orson is the most wonderful dog in the world. We adopted him six years ago from the Geneva animal shelter, where he had been pining for three months since his former owners had left him there. How they could bear to part with him I'll never know. He has perfect manners, and his best friend is Archie the Sardinian mongrel who was born in our house and whom Orson has been watching over since he was a tiny (hamster-sized) puppy two years ago. They romp and play all the time despite the size difference (Archie is about Corgi-sized). We are at present trying to find Orson's breeder in France, with the help of his tatoo number, through the French Pedigree Dogs Register, so that we can get a pedigree certificate, as these are now needed since the introduction of the French law on dangerous dogs. Non-pedigree mastiffs can no longer be walked without a muzzle and have to be registered at the town hall! It's a mad world indeed! 29.
